Pilot program

We’re recruiting a small cohort of U.S. hospitals for a climate-vulnerability study — rural and critical-access facilities. Pilot partners receive the full assessment at no cost.

Every facility has someone who carries the worry list. This is for them.

What your facility receives

A facility-level vulnerability report — an overall classification (Critical / High / Moderate / Low) with scores across power & cold chain, supply chain, water, infrastructure, workforce, and governance — and the specific drivers behind each.

A ranked action plan — every finding prioritized by urgency and routed to an action type: prevent it, watch for it, or build a fallback — with quick wins flagged, from zero-cost changes to capital projects.

A re-audit that verifies what improved — we project your score after the top fixes, then verify the improvement — third-party evidence of progress for your board, surveyors, grant applications, and insurance renewals.

What we ask of your team

One structured interview — adaptive, so your team only answers what applies. Typically an administrator, a clinical lead, and a facilities officer; in person or online with a validation call.

Documents you already have on hand — generator specs, outage history, water storage. Nothing prepared specially.

That’s the whole list. We source all hazard data ourselves from public satellite and climate records. Nothing is installed. No patient data is ever collected.

The exchange, plainly

Pilot partners receive the full assessment, report, action plan, and re-audit at no cost. In return we ask for your team’s feedback on the instrument — your time and candor, and a hand in shaping a tool we hope will move the needle on hospital preparedness.

Timeline

Report delivered within 21 days of completing the assessment. Pilot cohort limited to 25 facilities nationally. A later re-audit, scheduled around your team, verifies improvement.

For coalitions and Flex programs

If you support hospitals rather than run one, we’d love to hear from you — we work with coalitions and state programs to bring the pilot to their members. Use the same form and tell us who you are; we’ll respond within two business days.

Next step: a 30-minute scoping call.

No cost, no commitment — we map whether your facility fits the cohort, and you get a clear picture of where you stand either way.
